Will my insurance cover AlloSure?
AlloSure is a covered benefit for patients on Medicare (primary and secondary) and Medicare Advantage plans. For privately insured patients, CareDx will bill your insurer and work with them to obtain payment. The CareDx Reimbursement Team will handle billing your primary and if applicable, secondary insurance. You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement from your health insurer. This is not a bill.

CareDx has a dedicated team of insurance experts available to assist in resolving AlloSure billing-related issues. The Reimbursement Team works with patients, clinicians, and insurance companies to obtain reimbursement through billing and appeals. The Reimbursement Team can assist with the following:
- Interpretation of the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) received from your insurance company
- Prior authorization from insurance companies
- Benefits review to ensure accurate billing
- Insurance appeals, including information collection and follow up
If necessary, a member of our Reimbursement Team may reach out to you to obtain consent to file an appeal on your behalf with your health plan.
